Students who complete an application before March 30 will be considered for priority placement. The minimum GPA to apply to this program is 3.0.

This is a direct study abroad program at the University of Liverpool in the UK. Students will pay tuition and fees directly to the University of Liverpool while SSU issues their Federal Financial Aid.

The University of Liverpool was founded in 1881 and was one of the founding members of the Russell Group, an elite group of British research universities. Over 80% of our research was classified as 'World Leading' based on the most recent Research Excellence Framework, and the University is ranked 163rd internationally by Times Higher Education. The city of Liverpool experienced significant cultural growth and investment since being named as a European Capital of Culture in 2008. The University is located in the Knowledge Quarter in the city center, and the city itself is incredibly student-friendly with no need for public transportation given it's so walkable. Students will find the most museums and galleries in the UK outside of London in our city, as well as plenty of festivals and events both on campus and off.
