Program Description

This is a special, short-term study abroad experience for SSU students to participate tuition-free. Please note spots are extremely limited.

Spend a week this summer at Burgundy School of Business (BSB) in Dijon, France! Burgundy School of Business (BSB) holds an innovative workshop program for international students demonstrating high levels of curiosity and open-mindedness. Our Summer school is an innovative workshop program. The workshop concept combines modern learning methods such as experiential learning, problem-based learning, elements of personal development, and a number of creativity techniques. It is built on three learning pillars: Entrepreneurial Thinking, Leadership, and Creativity, which are stimulated every day. The program allows students to develop their personal leadership potential and better access their creative potential in their professional and personal life. The program has a strong focus on personal development and soft skills. It aims at stimulating a human-centered leadership based on students’ awareness of their personal strengths and unique qualities as human beings. We also build on the group dynamic to create in-depth interactions and learn from each other.
*Please note, participation in this program requires climbing an indoor rock wall and working with horses.

One of the best business schools in France, BSB is a human-sized school, known for its student support and unique teaching methods. The BSB campuses are distinctly urban. Located in the city centers of Dijon and Lyon, both are accessible by public transport or on foot and are close to all amenities. Shops, restaurants, bars, museums, parks, sports clubs, libraries… coming to BSB is more than a simple semester abroad.
